Media com is usually prompt and efficient with service and providing information I request. This time, the in-person technician, Hunter, was thorough with his first contact and all future scheduled calls to confirm and coordinate with me for his date and time to repair my internet service. I have been a mediacom customer for 7 at least 5 years it was very good internet until here the kast few months it sucks I pay $145 dollars a month for it and I can't even watch my TV I wouldn't recommend this service inhave called numerous times and cant get anything done They were supposed to vring me a modem and didn't even call or show up I guess I'll be looking for another internet provider cause with service like this how in the world do they have any customers
The absolute WORST company to deal with. Internet goes out multiple times a week for hours at a time. In 3 yrs I have had a tech out probably 30 times and every time they leave saying it was fixed, only to go back out within hours. This company has basically stolen thousands of dollars from me. They will tell you the same old sad story and offer a tech to come out which will probably take a week, if they ever show up. Oh, need to speak with someone with authority? Called to verify my address was serviceable, they told me it was, took my $140 payment waited a week for tech to hook up, when the techs finally show up they tell me that they actually don’t service my neighborhood even though their hub is 400 ft away from my house at start of neighborhood causing me to jump through hoops to get a refund and waste a week without internet when I could’ve went with a different company.
