I have had cable tv since 1995 and mediacom is by far the worst company. I have had media com over a year now and I am constantly having issues. A month ago my TiVo box went bad, it took a week for them to come out. Last Tuesday my modem went bad it took 8 days for them to come out. I would give them negative stars if I could. I work from home, I need my internet. I also pay a ridiculous amount of money every month $250 for internet and 2 TVs. Mediacom closed my local office which removed my post about their service, so reposting here because their service has gone down yet again in bay county, and it's 5 days before they can send someone out. If you have any other provider choices, take them. Mediacom is literally one of the worst ISPs I've ever dealt with when it comes to reliability. Mediacom's customer service is really bad. They had an outage last Saturday. My service did not restore. They say it's our wiring fault. Ok fine get a tech out here asap! Oh no that can't happen for two weeks! I'm cancelling!
Service has been off more than on so Buy a good antenna to receive local stations. Oh, and I just paid $388.00 for the equipment with autopay. Just went 10days without service. Had service for one day before it went out again. Waiting 11 more days for the next tech to come out. Wow! The only reason you get two stars is because of the poor agent's ear I bent.
