I had mediacom for over 30 years, changed over to southern fiber worx, great decision. Mediacom was going up to 245.00 per mo. for basic cable and internet service I told them not at my house. Mediacom wouldn't even pick up their equipment, I had to box it up and send it to them then they sent me a bill for 200.00 and said I didn't turn it all in. Terrible company, high prices for intermittent and slow internet! I wish they would just leave the area so a better company could come in.
Probably the worst internet service I’ve ever had. I paid $85 a month (the cheapest option by the way, because they’ll scam you into thinking you’re paying $40 and then double it a year later without telling you) for a service I could only use about two hours a day. The internet will randomly cut off throughout the day and sometimes it won’t come back until the following day. I’ve had multiple people come out and “fix” my modem , yet the same issues occur.
