This was one of the worst C&P exams I’ve ever experienced. My appointment with Dr. Mark Miranda lasted less than 10-15 minutes — rushed, dismissive, and completely inadequate for something as important as a VA disability evaluation. He admitted outright that he wasn’t knowledgeable about ENT conditions or surgeries, (his specialty is podiatry) yet, he was assigned to evaluate my allergies. Good location, centralized yet, closer for people living further around the outskirt of Hampton Roads. The building has a warm, welcoming sense of character to it, it doesn’t feel like a typical hospital clinic. Stress-free environment. The front desk staff is super respectful. The medical team keeps their clinic clean, comfortable and easily accessible for their patients. Dr. Caangay is very knowledgeable, patient and professional. I would recommend this location.

Absolutely amazing staff. I have had several exams here over the years. Dr. Miranda is awesome and so is the staff. Most thorough exam I have had by any contracted VA office period. You will not find another practice that is by the book per VA exam guidelines. For those that give negative ratings of this establishment I challenge you to take a look in the mirror and make sure you got yourself in order first. Do your research, understand what the VA is looking to answer, and back up your diagnosis with hard medical evidence.

Dr. Mark Miranda was very nice and professional, and so was the staff. However, the exam itself was maybe 5 minutes long. He looked at my feet and touched a few areas to ask about pain. No tools were used, no measurements were taken, I wasn’t asked to stand or walk to look how flat my feet are. I’m most likely not going to receive a favorable outcome from the VA, I didn’t get a good feeling based off the appointment. It all felt very rushed and not taken serious.
