I recently found out I was pregnant; I called to inquire about scheduling and how they worked with getting high risk women in (I am considered high risk) and the receptionist stated they were six weeks out and that probably half of their patients are high risk. To me, this is the receptionist/scheduler doing their basic job. I will continue to call around and hope to get in somewhere where I can feel the empathy during that first interaction.
