I used them a few times in the past for minor things and thought Medford auto care was great, however this time I dropped my truck off to diagnose a check engine light and told them I was in no hurry to take their time. After about 3weeks I sent my son in there to check up on it and the repairs were extensive ( in the thousands) I had to think about it. Polite staff and very knowledgeable!
In the past they have done top notch work at reasonable prices, but last month I took my car in for a diagnostic. They told me it was a tensioner pulley at that it would be $463. I said go ahead. The next day I was informed that they changed the tensioner but that wasn’t really the problem. The problem was the AC compressor and it would now cost me an additional $1900. So not only did I pay for a misdiagnosis and a repair I didn’t need, I was now going to be charged $1900 for another repair. I took my car and left feeling sc... read more
