Today marks 9 months since Danny left us we believe he would still be here if the paramedics inserted the intubation tube correctly allowing him to get oxygen to his brain. This error was not discovered until 4 hours after Danny was in the hospital, robbing him of much needed oxygen which would have prevented brain damage. The hospital then let him seize for nearly 48 hours before upping the drug to get the seizure under control which also contributed to his brain damage. I was at Oak Hill Hospital yesterday morning. A Med Fleet ambulance was parked with a great new paint job. It has a large bright green awareness ribbon and “Mental Health Matters” painted on each side. Thank you Med Fleet for breaking a stigma barrier. No matter how our brains are hurt, we need and deserve to be medically treated. Never lose hope. Thank you Med Fleet !!!
