For anyone seeing this this is no longer MED EXPRESS but it is the WVU medicine Urgent Care. They are open 8am-8pm every single day except for Thanksgiving day and xmas. Happy to have an urgent care through WVU medicine. Now the whole building is WVU medicine which makes it easier when my pcp has no openings
Lady at front desk was very nice. Nurse practitioner was also very nice. We got in and out in under 30 min. Very happy with this location.
What’s the point of making an appointment if you’re gonna wait. Front desk clerk was rude and didn’t even pay attention to my appointment details. I get if there are emergencies but there were not.
Completely useless facility for my lower extremity pain. They want you to book online (which frankly seems a little ridiculous for an "alleged" urgent care place). So I did book an appointment. The website claims they have X-ray capability. I knew, given my condition, there was a good probability I would need one. When I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early, I was told they had no one to do X-rays today. If this is indicative of MedExpress's level.of service, I will look for other alternatives in the future.
I'd give a negative # if I could. They have been ignorant, disrespectful, and unhelpful. 2 hours of phone calls and they still won't do their job. Refuse to send a fax it call for a referral. Threatened me if I showed up. 92 year old cant get care because they won't do their job.
