They are only for convenience. They are not hospice . They are 9 to 5 Monday through Friday heaven forbid you need them in the middle of the night or weekends! The weekend before my mother passed, she was screaming out in pain in her sleep, and I could not get a hold of anybody in this agency! Unfortunately, the billing office is unreliable at this medical center. I had a situation where an insurance company erroneously refused payment. When I requested an itemized statement of the bill, I was twice told they would send me one. I still have not received such a statement. I had to call a third time and got someone who was short with me despite their error. I will again have to wait to see if they send me the statement (meanwhile, I am considered delinquent on payment; of course, the fact that they seem to be unable... read more

They started off doing a good job at the facility where I live (************ Assisted Living Facility) as our Home Health Nurses. For the past almost 5 months of the COVID pandemic, because of our Director (******* *******) and the organization (****** Senior Living) that oversees us, we haven't had a positive case of the virus in our building. I got shot 5 times (in the hip, arm, & stomach) on March 18. I was transported to the East Alabama Medical Facility by ambulance. Thankfully none of the bullets hit any major organs/arteries. They sent me home about 8 hours after I got there with 2 bullets in my stomach 1 in my arm and 20 pain pills to be taken once every 4-6 hours. I was told that there were no surgeons there that could remove the bullets.
