This group is one of the most inconsistent and difficult to deal with when it comes to processing FSA claims. They reimburse inconsistently, don't seem to communicate behind the scenes, and appear incompetent when you try to clarify when there are problems. I wish I had another FSA option offered through my employer instead of having to consider a high deductible plan. I cannot believe these people have an A+ rating I have been paying for insurance for three months and have yet to even get an insurance card. I have contacted and contacted and no card i'm convinced this place is nothing but a scam.
I was not notified that I need certain prescriptions mail ordered. I had 1 refill left on a prescription and went to the local pharmacy to refill. The pharmacy told me I need to contact the insurance company so they could fill my last prescription. I contacted Medcost and was on the phone for 17 minutes and 31 seconds. Medcost is the absolute WORST insurance company I have ever delt with. They constantly file claims incorrectly, they don’t want to pay for any claims, and try to find reasons to deny them. Since having medcost, I have been on the phone with them weekly, and I am a healthy person with a healthy family!!! I have caught them in lies and had to call a dr.
