Never answer their phones. Blatantly ignore your messages on healow app even though they ask to use the app because it is "faster." Literally had a health emergency and sent multiple messages... no response. Dr. Myers was good the first appointment but after that he just became extremely apathetic and just ignoring everything I'm saying and just wanting to get in the appointment and get out as quickly as possible, the Boerne location, seem out of touch with the duties of checking patient portal messages and requests. Office help is flat out Rude and in competent Nothing has changed from my review from 2020
First, let me start by saying that Dr. Myers is awesome. This is not about the doctors; it's about the office staff. I have been with this group for many years under Dr. Vela and PA Hicks and never had issues with the office staff. However, Dr. Vela retired, and PA Hicks left. We were transferred to another office. Here's the issue: according to my insurance, I should only have to pay a $40 co-pay. However, the office staff demands that I pay $89. Things have definitely changed at Medcaire associates. I made my 88 year-old mother an appointment to come in Tuesday morning 8 am. I receive automated text and voicemail on Sunday and twice on Monday morning at 7:30 and 745 saying Medicare has an urgent message for us. Please call us back on the number above as soon as you do it’s automated and says they’re not open until 8 am. So we made our way again to the doctors office got there at 7:50 only to be told by the lady on the front desk who is not very helpful at all that t... read more
