Cannot get a straight answer from them. I paid off my loan 2 weeks ago. I overpaid. I was told on March 2 that I would would receive a check for the overpayment in 7 to 10 days. Today I was told that a check would be sent out on March 31. Why are you holding my money?

I've had good experiences with Medallion Bank. But if I make a payment, it needs to be taken immediately, or the very least within 24 hours of scheduling it. 4 days is far too long. I now have insufficient funds and my payment will have to wait another week for my next payday, which is also going to put me off. Financial institutions of all businesses should not take more than 24 hours for them to send or receive funds.

Absolutely useless bank. I’ve been trying to pay off the lien on my car & need confirmation of the account & wiring instructions for them. Speaking to them on the phone goes nowhere & they said they would send an email with instructions. They said it will take 24-48 hours to receive the email (??????) but it’s been 5 days now. It’s enough to make anyone think they are dragging it out so I make another high interest monthly payment. 100% would not recommend

The bank is a scamer. So if you make additional payments or sums they dont apply them to the principal. They just tell you its a payment in advance. They dont have a menu to apply extra to principle. So what happens interest in still ticking. I am about 8 months into the 5 year term. I made 3 payments this month on purpose to see how they would handle it.
