Medical Center Of Arlington A excellant hostipal with outstanding staff that caters to the needs of anyone that walks through the door. The newly remodeled wing makes it very convenient and helpful to those new to the area.
Very Poor Treatment and Care of Patients Had to go to this hospital a few times, urgently, and the treatment received there was poor. Emergency rooms are dirty, staff is "invisible", and doctors don't seem to care. If this had been a one-time occurance, I perhaps would think differently. But after 4 different incidences, it's their normal operating procedure. Wait for hours, receive incorrect treatement, and out the door you go. Staff takes extra special care The staff at Medical Center of Arlington makes an extra effort to take special care of all their patients. The ER knows how to prioritize the patients correctly so that no one is over looked and each condition is treated accordingly. The nurses are extremely knowledgable in all areas and make you feel as close to home as possible. PROS: Wonderful staff that makes you feel close to home. CONS: None.
Poor Service, Menacing Collection Staff I went there a few months ago to their ER. I have been unable to make payments on the astronomical bill, after having paid for the doctor's individual bill. I still get calls from their collection department recording me without my permission. When I went there, they didn't do much to treat me and just wanted to get a profit from me.
Neglect of an alzeimers patient My dad (has alzheimers) was just admitted to the ER. On medical floor now. We didn't see any...I repeat...any staff for 5 1/2 hours! He was not offered fluids, food, and 0 meds. I asked 2 times for something for pain, nothing. I am a nurse so I know how things get busy. This was deplorable!! We even had to clean him up after he excreted all over himself! To make things really great, the staff called adult protective services on my mom!!! Uncaring, unprofessional staff My elderly mother has been a patient at this hospital several times and I have been appalled at the uncaring, unprofessional nursing staff. In her latest visit to the ER, she was left alone for an hour and they didn't even give her the call button. When I complained, they said they were "monitoring" her vitals from the desk. But did all those monitoring machines tell them she was freezing with only one thin sheet to cover her or that she desperately needed to go to the bathroom? The nurses neve... read more
Caring People This hospital is very good. I had to take my wife to the ER and then she was in ICU. I feel that she received the best treatments available and great nurses. They were great at explaining everything. The entire staff was very understanding and helpful. I would return here for major or minor things.
Speedy ER service Wait times at this ER are typically short, with the staff being quite attentive to patients with conditions of a serious nature. Registration is easy and the staff seems caring and professional.
Very Happy With My Knee Surgery I had arthroscopic knee surgery at MCA (lateral release & microfracture) and could not be happier with the treatment and results. Compared to the typical hospital process, it was an easy process, there wasn't too much waiting around, and the nurses were nice and prepared me well for the operation. I had surgery in early January and went skiing in late March so needless to say it was a big success!â
