The Mecklenburg Electric Co-Op team is a blessing with skilled and professional technicians who work quickly and tirelessly. During last night's winter storm, a driver of a small red pickup truck decided to crash their car into my electric pole, causing it to collapse on to the back of their vehicle. I lost power from about 9:45 pm or so when the power line came down and caught fire in the yard, the driver fled the scene on foot through a farmer's field next door.
