We had a really great experience with this company and I felt it was worth sharing, especially after everything that happened. Our alternator had actually been in service since 1999, which honestly says a lot about the quality right there. It held up for decades without any major issues. Sometimes the lead times are longer as I believe they come from out of the US, but I've had a good run with them. I had a few units recently that needed a replacement and they were able to modify a unit for me that works for my customers needs.
DO NOT do business with Mecc Alte. Mecc Alte will push you back to the distrubutor for warranty and their distributors DO NOT stand behind their PRODUCT. If I could give ZERO stars I would based on my overall experience. Purchased a $2800 generator that stopped working after only ONE WEEK. Two brands (Mecc Alte & Honda) you think you could trust but don't be FOOLED.
