I have always ordered ribs from Meats and Sweets when I have a potluck to go to. Everyone asks where I got them from cause they are so good !! I have also ordered lunches from them just because!!! Love their food and also love helping them in any capacity needed. .
Their meats are great, I enjoy the ribs, pulled pork, hot links, and so much more! The sweets are wondrously sweet and taste delightful! However their sides are where they falter. I dislike their potato salad, as it lacks flavor and is a bit too watery. Their mac and cheese also lacks flavor; i usually add bbq sauce to it. Furthermore their coleslaw has a bit too much sauce, making it a bit distasteful.
Had a breakfast burrito with the mango habanero salsa. Was described as spicy, spice level was very low. The smoke flavor on the meat was good and the salsa complemented the ingredients okay. Burrito light on the filling compared to nearby competitors. Burrito was just okay, would give it a 3/5. Customer service was friendly.
I've lived in this area for years and so glad to have an amazing place to get delicious food that's not just the preprocessed fast food fix and actually take my family to get a homemade, delicious meal served by such nice people who obviously actually care about quality and service.
