Everything was outstanding. Started with the smoke wings with homemade ranch dressing on the side. Sandwiches are loaded with generous portions. Pork belly Reuben on pumpernickel bread delicious. Brisket sandwich, fabulous. Staff was friendly and provided great service. Will be coming back.
This joint is the real deal Holyfield. Delightfully atmospheric lighting and decor. Impeccable service, and down home comfort eats that are second to none in the Lansing area. I was gobsmacked by the speed at which I was in and out of the place, and floored by the quality of the cuisine. The Meat Mountain consisting of mashed potatoes, gravy, cheese, bacon, and generous helping of mouth watering brisket with creamed corn in top was absolutely delicious. I'll be back to try some of their other tantalizing entrees.
The meat was good I will say that but I was disappointed for the hard burnt pieces of brisket and the $8.00 up-charge that was not explained when I ordered over the phone. It was not the experience I was hoping for, for my first visit and since I ordered it to go didn't see it until I got back to the Airbnb.
