So many plants, so little yard Mean's has a great variety of plants and shrubs. You can get just 1 plant there or enough to landscape your whole yard. They carry soils too. The quality of plants is great. very healthy- most grown locally in nearby fields or greenhouses
Gardner's Paradise Mean's has year round plants and really loads up in the Spring with annuals, perennials, trees and ornamentals. Or if you just want a dozen roses to surprise someone the sign says just $8.99. What a deal.
Great place worth the scenic drive! Means has some of the best plant prices in the Portland region. Lots of variety and always has good-sized trees available. Watch for their big sale on fuchsia baskets in the spring! Definitely worth the short drive from PDX.
Always a special Means Nursery always entices me to stop in with their special advertised outside by the road. It is a great day trip from Portland to Means and then Joy Creek Nursery down the road. Large, well priced ornamental cabbages in the fall.
