I am a long term customer of the Meander Valley Veterinary Service and have generally been very happy with the service, however an after hours visit with a sick dog last Saturday cost me a total of $366.70 in consultation fees alone. I am happy to pay double the normal consultation fee of $115.00 for after hours but they charge a normal consult fee plus $250.70 for after hours. I was charged $95.10 to have my Chihuahua groomed and this is how he was sent home, I didn't notice till I got home, sent them email, they rang and asked me what my expectations were, wanted to resolve the matter but unfortunately I don't trust them now. 🤬

my 2 poodles groomed with no hair or pom poms left ! Their Tails pom pom Gone ! & BEAUTIFUL long hair on their Ears Gone ! COST $167 (im a hairdresser if i Ever cut a Clients Hair like this ! I would of been SUED !!

They did an ultrasound on our new found stray cat to check for pregnancy. They made it sound like the only smart option, didn’t tell us price after asking. After scan they told us if she was that if she was far enough along to see on scan you would be able to tell by looking at her??? Then charged us $350? Asked for the bill to be emailed because I didn’t understand what I was actually paying for. They told us nothing helpful, no new information, and charged a lot.
