Meals on Wheels the best for seniors health & culinary wise. We’ve enjoyed years of healthy meals for 80 year olds like us. For some unforeseen issues our subscription/deliveries were cancelled. It was unfortunate we had to run for important errand day of delivery. Left note we’ll be back in 20 minutes. New delivery guy ignored note & reported right away we’re not home which is a No No! I've been hearing that they don't receive delivery if they have a appointment. I receive this program and I couldn't be more grateful!! I also have taken responsibility for making sure I'm available for delivery. My comes the same day every week. I'm not sorry if I have upset anyone! It's time to get back to being appreciative and Great full for the people who take the time out of their lives to help! GODSPEED to all you and Thank You!!🥰
I strongly feel they shouldn’t cancel if you are not available for delivery. Many seniors have doctor appts and or emergencies. A set time should be placed and OR leave the box out front if possible like other meal deliveries do. Place items in a secure iced bag line box to keep food cold. But I understand it’s helpful for those who can’t lift or put food away, therefore that’s a plus in my book that they offer that . Also there can be improvement on fresher produces .
God bless meals on wheels and their staff that delivers to seniors! My mom has utilized this service for awhile, and it has been such a blessing to her life. Keep doing what you do, you are indeed appreciated!
