Man at front counter is racist and aggressive. Was shopping there yesterday and overheard him telling a story about something being stolen. However, when describing the thief, he repeatedly only referred to her as “the black woman.” When he approached me, I tried to gently call him in and explain that using race as the only descriptor for a person (especially in a negative light) is harmful and perpetuates violence against minorities, and could reflect badly on their business. Lots of smalls at very good prices. Great place to shop at a leisurely pace if you're a treasure hunter. My favorite find was a lovely apple themed Longaberger tablecloth. After a quick ironing it looks lovely on my dinner table, as I am sure it will brighten up my teatime garden table when I get it out early summer. :)
