I presented an offer for a property through my broker to Mr. Joseph Knight, listing agent with Meadows Real Estate Services. Mr. Knight called my broker and told him that we had a deal but the escrow agent had to be changed by one of his client’s choice. My broker did the change and my broker's agent called Mr Knight in order to tell him that, according to the terms of the As-Is offer, if the buyer chooses the escrow agent, he has to pay for the charges for closing services, and that was the rule.
