Stay away from Westport Homes now DR-Horton. Anything escrowed don't count on meeting plans. DO NOT SIGN CLOSING WITHOUT YOUR LAWYER DOCUMENTING ESCROW ITEMS ON YOUR BEHALF!!!! Several items were escrowed on my house, which from before closing to 1yr inspection, I repeatedly cited with builder, plans are not being followed. Stay away from this builder. For the most part, our build experience was smooth until we were a month out from close. We identified a number of issues in the home (scratched/chipped cabinets, kitchen drawers that don’t open well or at all, basement floor not being clean, poor window installs, the list goes on) and they have yet to be fixed despite a lot of effort on our part.
