This was the greatest place to stay on our trip. I will recommend it to everyone. Great breakfast. Beautiful location.
Can’t say enough good things about The Meadows Inn. Linda the innkeeper is so sweet . She makes homemade goodies everyday that are delicious. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shops . Beds are super comfortable. We will definitely be back .
We stayed here for a business trip and Linda was extremely accommodating for our early morning breakfast. Every meal was excellent and great baked treats in the evenings. I will definitely be staying here again!
With so many choices of bed-and-breakfasts in New Bern it was daunting. I have to say we really lucked out with finding this amazing one! The homemade breakfasts were generous and delicious, and the extra amenities such as wine available throughout the day along with coffee, teas, baked goodies and popcorn made us sad to leave and have to fend for ourselves. Linda, thank you for your hospitality. If we head back to Newbern in the future we definitely know where we will be staying! Peg and Joe
For a home built in the 1840's, everything was as expected. Upon walking in the door, I knew I was in the right place. Everything felt as good as it was supposed to. Our group of Shriners and ladies felt comfortable and well taken care of by Linda and staff. We already booked for 2026!
