Went to Car Fix Waterford to have a pre-purchase inspection on a used car I was thinking of buying. I met Thomas, who told me the inspection was going to cost $100 –a reasonable price. When I got back after the inspection, he told me that the car was leaking everywhere and had lots of issues, and not to buy it. He then told me he wasn't going to charge me at all because of how quickly he found the problems. I tried to insist on paying even partially, but he would not let me. I've been to Carfix twice now. The first was for an oil change and headlight replacement. They had me in and out very quickly. The second was for a transmission issues. They took their time to explain what was wrong and lead me in the direction to make the right decision. They have great customer service and they accept syncrony car credit if you're in a bind like I was.
