My father was a patient at the rehab for 6-7 weeks post stroke. He was scared, nervous, and weak when he went there, barely able to sit up and feed himself. He recently was discharged home and is now walking, doing steps, and preparing meals. The whole staff from the administrator to housekeeping made my whole family feel welcome. My father progressed with the guidance of the caring therapists, and the medical staff went above and beyond to help him. We are very grateful to all of them.
I fractured my hip 3/25/26 in NJ. I live PA a 3 hour painful trip. My husband drove me to Jefferson in Norriton. That emergency room team EXCELLENT!. Jefferson got me into Shannondell Rebah. Bernice I sure she's the head nurse in the second FLOOR A wing, Great rehab I'm so thankful for the team. I will always recommend Shannondell Rehab!!
We had an excellent experience at Shannondell Rehabilitation. The staff was outstanding—professional, caring, attentive, and always willing to help. Everyone treated our family member with respect and made the recovery process as comfortable as possible. The facility itself was very well maintained, clean, and organized. Shannondell was a great experience especially the nursing staff and physical therapist especially, Heather and Occupational therapist Dave The food was delicious and patients had multiple options for breakfast, lunch and dinner to choose from every day 😋 I did have a very unpleasant experience with, I believe she was the director of social services , Jennifer Joyce in regards to my discharge plans, in fact it was very unprofessional ! I believe this should be addressed with the employee !
My Mother was here for 4 weeks with a leg fracture. PROS: The look of the place is akin to a upscale hotel, as is the food. The DAYTIME support staff are attentive and seemed focused on doing the best job they can. (no playing on phones) The place is kept clean and free of unpleasant odors. The nursing staff are top-notch (although at times they seemed understaffed and overloaded.) CONS: The OVERNIGHT staff are where things got a bit sketchy.
