After 30 years in our home, we made the big decision to move to Meadowood. Now, three months later, the only question we ask is "Why not sooner?" My wife, a constant worrier, now has nothing to worry about. Our biggest problem is trying to manage our schedule so we don't over-schedule. You can do as much or as little as you like. The food is excellent, the staff is warm and friendly, and more importantly, extremely competent. My wife says it is like living at an all-inclusive resort.

Great place to work if you like being taken advantage of and if you want your hard work, dedication and loyalty not matter in the least. It's terrible when you have an employee who has been there for 15 years. Stays late, works when called,etc yet 16 year old part time kidd are getting hired and making more. Or giving off for a funeral when requested a week in advance to then cut it to giving 2 hours off two days before the funeral to completely denying someone the time off at all to say good bye and see a loved one for the ... read more

There is a culture of bullying and passing the buck among the staff at the medical center. Patients have been placed in inappropriate units because someone else didn't want to deal with them. Higher-ups are inconsistent about what the rules are, and aides have been penalized for doing one thing and then by someone else for doing the exact opposite. Workers are set up for failure and this has a negative effect on patients. EDIT: no, there is not another Meadowood senior living in Skippack that I am referring to.
