Celebrated our anniversary here and had a fantastic time! The drinks were incredible as was the service (shoutout to Wendy!) I’ll be dreaming about the smoked beats, shishito peppers, and the Marbella chicken for quite some time!
This is our second visit and it was as wonderful as our first. Had fresh, clean oysters, focaccia bread that was soft and flavorful (not dense like many places offer), Teres Major and Spaghetti with ragu sauce. All delicious! Topped it off with a lemon sponge dessert. Highly recommend! Make a reservation because it’s has a quaint intimate setting.
Meadowlark Wine Bar is a true gem. This place has it all - an amazingly thought out food menu unique to the season, a perfectly curated wine list and an educated service staff that go above and beyond to give you a top notch experience. This place is a must visit when in Lawrence!
After a great conversation with Jake in Wichita I decided to make a trip to Lawrence from Kansas City. We tried several small bites, appetizers, and entrees. The food was fresh, flavorful, and creative. Service was phenomenal - Margo helped with deciding on a casual wine to drink with our bites and appetizers and then paired a wine with each entree. Can’t wait to make it back!
