Solid home, very energy efficient. Good HVAC system and plumbing. They have solved all the open issues we’ve raised during our warranty period. Tyler and Justin have been great. But frustrating sometimes with all the contractors but that’s what it’s like living in a new development and it’s only temporary.

It is my belief that this company's business model is to do as little as they have to. We are a community of about 250 homes and I have yet to meet a satisfied homeowner. From trash to abandon vehicles, to shoddy construction, to poor customer service, Meritage lives up to this rating. Examples: Our windows fell apart at the 2 year mark. Part of our deck had to be rebuilt. We have severe drainage issues. Our breakers trip at least once per week. Our walls are thin and flimsy.
