Our son was on Maple Ward from February until July 25. The support and care both he as a patient and us as his family received from all the staff was outstanding. We felt listened to and included in his care plan. After years of desperately trying to get the help for him he finally got sectioned at Meadowfield where his recovery began. We will be forever grateful to Dr Ahwe and all his team on Maple Ward including the catering and cleaners you all do an incredible job.

stayed for four nights recently staff were very helpful and had a lot of knowledge about mental health would always listen and the grounds are very peaceful with lots of greenery and wildlife.
I was here a few weeks ago as a voluntary inpatient. Was the worst 4 days of my life. The things I have seen and have heard are just horrid, this poor girl in there was treated with no respect when she had an episode it was heartbreaking . I was in maple ward and the manager involved Ivona or something was so incredibly rude and dominant she did not make you feel comfortable at all.
