Admittedly I was a little concerned when I read some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. My room was spotless. I didn't want to risk staying at Mount Olympus and I'm glad I didn't. I enjoyed that park but when I saw their motels I cringed. I can only imagine what they look like inside. The only thing I would say about Meadowbrook is that they are a little spendy and it would be nice if they had a continental breakfast. The only positive I can say about this “resort” is the location is great. It’s close to the strip and prime spots. The resort is dated, dingy and smelly. The grout is black and after showering you can see the dirt come off of it. We somehow got noise complaints even after our kids were sleeping and the kids down the hall screamed and pounded on the floors. The amenities are lacking. Hear me out - it's not flashy. It's not brand new. What it *Is* is a family friendly, no pressure, slow life place to stay in the dells. Nature? Yes. Pool? Yes. Activities for kids? Yes. As flashy as other places? No. Is it like a nice place to be? Yes! Cute cabin
We had an issue with the toilet in our room (pre-existing condition - I first became concerned when the plunger by the toilet was still wet). The team that tried to fix - over 90 minutes - left behind a watery mess, and no resolution. Three separate people each tried the same exact thing, and after wasting one of our evenings, we were eventually moved to a smaller room (we wanted the bunkhouse for the kids, which was fun and cute) and were not refunded the difference.
