The hotel is situated in a truly wonderful location—surrounded by a pine forest! It is an ideal spot with a great atmosphere. The hotel itself is beautiful; both the exterior and interior are lovely and well-designed. That said, the property does need some repairs and attention. We stayed in room 414, choosing it solely because the bed configuration suited our needs. One major issue we encountered was the neighbors upstairs. We booked Meadowbrook Resort because it was advertised as a family-friendly destination, but that was not my experience. We were traveling with three toddlers and a baby, and two of our toddlers are autistic. During our stay, the front desk came to our room because other guests had complained about noise. We understand that hotels have to respond to guest concerns, but the way the situation was handled made us feel unwelcome. Perfect location! We just had a girl’s trip here and let me tell you, this is such a beautiful, quiet, clean, adorable, cozy and RELAXING place. It’s off the beaten path but mins from all the attractions. They had three pools(2 for kids), they have a washer and dryer on the resort.(1 of each), you do have to use the same towels for your stay the room provides, small kitchenette's with mini fridge and hot plates.
