I met the new administrator Ms Hortonat Tucker Park Crossing and it’s was a pleasure she listened and put my concerns in actions immediately and gave me her cellphone number to contact her anytime . I also see some of the new things she’s implementing andIm looking forward to the Family Day event coming up .
We are very fortunate to have found Tucker Park Crossing. It is one of the hiddden gems of Dekalb County. Bree and the entire staff including the wonderful nurses have a great culture in their community. They have recently renovated the entire 1st floor. I am most impressed at how clean the facility stays. That is no easy task as they mop my dad's room everyday. If you are looking for a great rehab and long term care facility start here.
My father was admitted to Meadowbrook Nursing Home (now Tucker Park Crossings) in early February 2026 following discharge from the VA. He is legally blind, cognitively impaired, mobility-limited, and medically fragile. During his short stay, he experienced a fall that was not reported to me at the time. Aside from the care of a few compassionate CNAs (and I do mean few), this facility is wholly unsuitable to care for your loved one. The food was consistently cold. If a resident could not get to the restroom on their own, they were left to sit in their waste for extended periods which I have witnessed this myself. When we approached nurses, the doctor, or others with concerns or requests, we were often met with attitudes as if we were an inconvenience.
