George E. Haskell and William W. Bosworth founded Meadow Gold in 1894. The men lost their jobs with the bankrupt Fremont Butter and Egg Company during the silver panic of 1893. Starting out on their own the next year, they formed the partnership firm of Haskell and Bosworth with headquarters in Beatrice, Neb. I brought this load from Salt Lake got here Saturday morning nobody works Saturdays but this guy named Kasey was there doing some inventory or something. He grabbed my papers and called his boss but nobody answered the phone calls and he decided to unload my trailer. If it wasn’t for him I would’ve stay until the next day.
