I have years worth of memories of special trips to Meadow Acres. It's the perfect place to pick up really unique gifts, but also for that special thing for the home. It is stunning at Christmas and worth the trip. With the greenhouse and even a women's clothing section, you could wander for hours. Prices are mid to high range which is the only downfall but the uniqueness and quality of items can be worth it.
I have shopped at Meadow acres for over 20 years and have thoroughly loved the store and the workers. I have also recommended the store too many people and bought many gift cards. However, the last two times I have come there I have not left with a good experience or vibe. The staff at the cashier we're just rude to my sister and I the other day, after waiting in line to purchase something she looked at us with disgust and snapped at me "can I help you" in a very rude tone it just doesn't feel like a welcoming store anymore.... read more
I had a wonderful experience shopping here last Thursday. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that helped my mom and I pick out some garden plants. Everything looked fresh and healthy and employees were watering and stocking plants while asking customers if they were finding everything they needed. They had so much variety of not just plants, but clothes and accessories, furniture and decor for both inside and out. Huge 5-Star Review for Tanya and all of the amazing staff at Meadow Acres Garden Centre. On the Saturday May 16th, my wife was shopping for plants when she was struck by a woman driving an F150, resulting in her foot being run over. It was an incredibly traumatic situation, but the care and compassion shown by the staff and customers at Meadow Acres was something we will never forget. I was very disappointed with how Meadow Acres handled the transition away from Meadow Acres Dollars. We had accumulated $47 worth over time and went in today expecting to use them, only to be told they were no longer accepted because the program had moved to a digital format. At no point did the Meadow Acres Dollars have an expiry date, so there was no reason to believe they would suddenly become worthless.
