I drove almost an hour to this location to get a battery for my John Deere tractor. When I got the battery home, I hooked it up and I could not even get the lights to turn on. I spent about two hours going over everything I knew it did not help, even tried jumping it and it didn’t work. The next day I had a tractor mechanic come over. Took a zero turn into the shop for front bearing replacement. Was informed that both spindles were damaged and needed replaced. No diagnostic was needed, nor should’ve taken over an hour to replace the bearings on the front of the zero turn and two spindles. But instead at $110 per hour, I was charged a total of $238.74 for labor. So if you have deep pockets and don’t mind throwing money away, then Mead Tractor and Mount Sterling is the place to go.
