Car needed a minor repair while we were vacationing and MDI provided prompt, friendly, capable service… along with great conversation. If we lived here MDI would be my go-to mechanics!
David, realized that I was new to the state of Maine, showed me with the upmost respect, told me when it would be done & got it done two days before promised time. Then he followed me up with a phone call to see how the car is going. Great guy, Great little shop to take your European vehicle.
Great experience !! My car was diagnosed and fixed very fast ! David was very nice. The place is filled with objects that he collects and interesting books to read while waiting for the job to be done . Jason was above and beyond his task, he explained and showed me what was going on with the brakes . I will recommend this place .
I asked for a quote before the work was done and could not get one. Once the work was completed (tire rotation and oil change). I nearly choked over the bill. Over $200 Totally outrageous. I recently had the exact same service at a different area garage - $74.00. Based on positive reviews I felt good about going here and should have researched more. Just want to help others out. Wouldn’t use this place unless you have an old quirky difficult to fix import. And lots of money.
