MD Helicopters is a toxic, disorganized, unstructured, mismanaged company that has almost gone out of business multiple times. Their helicopters are unsafe and their employees are unprofessional, rude and dishonest. Horrible company.
I've worked with many Aerospace companies and this is a sum of my short time with MD as a contractor. Contractors, and direct hires alike. No one is safe from layoffs here. They bring people on to complete orders for aircraft and lay them off as the orders near completion. I started here as a contractor and within two months, the COO, CFO, and three supervisors were either let go or quit. This company is poorly managed and is barely hanging on by a thread. Interviewed with them. Discussed salary expectations. They decided to fly me out, highlighting they would reimburse me for any expenses that I incurred. They extended a lower offer than my range. When I declined, they never fulfilled the reimbursement promise. Not sure how the rest of the company operates. Hopefully better than that experience.
