I'm wheelchair bound and was waiting on a friend to complete his treatment. I had waited downstaars and needed to use the restroom. The door wieghed a ton and required two men and a boy (figure of speech) to open. It was very difficult to access sitting in the wheelchair. Once inside however, it was immaculate.
It took 3 phone calls (due to sudden disconnect as soon as someone picked up) at 25 minutes on hold per call to get to make an appointment. I can't imagine having just gotten a cancer diagnosis and going through that to make an appointment.
Every doctor, nurse, and support person here at MD Anderson Cooper has been phenomenal. Dr Fantazio and her team were able to expedite my fiancee's surgery leading to the most successful outcome. Furthermore, they did more accurate testing than the other local health care systems. Every doctor and nurse we have encountered in the Cooper Health System has been first class and has had a major positive impact on our health.
