I bought a vintage guitar-(that I have been looking for awhile); Ollie was great-he guided me and answered ALL my questions. When I arrived at store both Matheu and Ollie helped me greatly. I’ve known of this place since it opened and have wondered about the stuff they sell but never had a reason to go in. Until now, when I was in the market for a parlour-sized guitar. I went in not knowing if I can trust the staff there and I left feeling like I absolutely could. Can't say enough good things about Ollie and the service from McTamney's. I had corresponded about an item I saw online. Ollie's answers were prompt and very helpful. And knowing I was travelling from outside of town to look at the item, he offered to lay it aside until the next day so it would be guaranteed to be there when I arrived. Everything was exactly as described. The entire transaction was fantastic from start to finish. Can't recommend them enough.
Had a great experience buying wedding rings here. Andrew was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and not at all pushy. What I loved most of all was the pricing transparency. I thought because it's a pawn shop there would be an expectation that we haggle on the price, which I was dreading. But he straight up told us they charge 10% above the spot value for gold rings and the price is the price.
