cheap drinks, friendly bartenders! – I always have a good time when I come here, everything is pretty cheap, and the bartenders are always really quick on their feet! I also love the music, when I was there last night they played classic rock, it was awesome! I enjoyed great beer, steve millers band, a game of darts and my friend taught me how to play pool for a little while, what more could I ask for a Tuesday night!

late night happy hour – If you are looking for a chill spot to have some cheap drinks then go to Mcswiggans. They have happy hour from 12 - 1. Forgot what the specials are becasue i got so drunk

A dive with all the fixin's: darts, a decent jukebox and some dangerous drink specials. – In Short In the not-quite-Gramercy-not-quite-Stuy-Town stretch that is Second Avenue just north of the East Village, a good drinking spot is hard to find. McSwiggan's, a low-key joint, wouldn't know a scene if it walked in. The crowd's a mix of odd locals and youngish post-college types. Good Dive Bar – It's a dive, but has pretty much anything you'd expect from a dive with a pool table, dart board, trivia and internet jukebox. Beers are pretty cheap (Coors Light are $4) and buybacks are frequent. There are about 5 tv's around the bar to watch games. Bathrooms are in decent shape. Draws a mix of 20 somethings to an older crowd that wants to unwind with a drink. Bar stools aren't in the best condition

Dive Bar – This bar reminds me of the dive bar me and my mates would go to during college. The worst martini I've ever had. They had two female bartenders, it seems, just for the sake of having attractive girls to try to bring in customers. Watch out of the "regulars": the lonely old rummies that sit at the bar. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Best BMs! – This bar is a run-of-the-mill 3rd Ave Gramercy Irish bar. Apart from one thing: it makes the best Bloody Marys I've had in New York. Freshly mixed, no horseradish (ugh), lots of Worcester and nicely spiced. Mmmmm.
