Drivers don’t go in to this place too early, you will either sit and block traffic or be asked to leave. Come in about an hour before your delivery/pickup. You will still wait for about two hours for a door. You will be at the facility for about five hours for live loads. There is no parking at the facility. Night shifts is by far better to deal with than the day shift is. Good luck!
This place is a VERY good place to conduct business with. I came in with freight that did not fit on the dock at my previous delivery so I was instructed by TQL to bring it here. We'll TQL had not told me that my new appointment was 35 hours later. I spoke with a gentleman named JESSE H. and told him that I had to catch a flight for a wedding he and said sorry but your appointment is not until tomorrow. Truckers: There is no overnight parking here. Plan your trip accordingly. The truck entrance is off of Midland Place GPS 38.042802 and -84.480884 That will take you to the truck gate. Once at the gate, security fills you in on what to do next. BE ADVISED: YOU MUST SLIDE TANDEMS BACK BEFORE BACKING INTO DOCK. SIGN SAYS IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO SLIDE TANDEMS BACK, THEY WILL REJECT THE TRAILER/LOAD. Be sure your trailer tandems function properly before arrival. Drop and hook for Prime. Not sure about overnight parking as I had a spot in TA right around the corner. Had a 12 hour window to drop a clean, empty trailer full of fuel. I decided to pick up an hour before the window closed, the trailer was ready and the people in the front office were cool as ice… You drop your empty in a number spot and let the office know and then they give you your paperwork and you hook up your trailer from whatever number spot they tell you… Easy Peezy
2000 appt 1900 check in 2130 assigned door 2230 check out with paperwork Above average for a cold storage. I figure anything under 5 hours at a cold storage is super exceptional It seems the night crew only has limited workers and one of the loaders doubles as the shipping / receiving office clerk There are multiple doors at this facility but seems they only use a couple of them for outbound shipping With that being said, there is plenty of room to park and to tern around and maneuver.
