I had a check engine light on my 2007 Audi A-4, and we were leaving next week for a 1200 mile trip home. I called and he told me to bring the car in the next day at 11:00. I found his shop; wondered about this place after seeing junk cars in front of it. But he checked the code (misfire cylinder 6), and said he thought a new cylinder coil would fix it. “Long-distance-runner!” Sticks with the project no matter what and to the finish-line! Both in-person and consultation. This mechanic may be knowledgeable, but my experience was not positive. He seems to be lacking in integrity. He charged me $155 to “look” at my BMW engine and ultimately did nothing - nor explained possibilities for solutions or what could be wrong with it. My Engine Malfunction message was on. He did not scan the codes, just told me to come back and leave the car with him on another day - AFTER I had already paid the $155. And that he hoped he wouldn’t have to rebuild the engine. Martin saved the day for us! My BMW had a radiator hose that melted due to an oil leak, causing antifreeze/ coolant to explode everywhere and lack thereof overheat my car. Not what you want to happen Just as you are trying to park to hike Cathedral rock trail! Martin waited for our tow, diagnosed the issue quickly, and was able to make repairs Same day. Martin is a master mechanic with european cars. I have 2013 Land Rover and I feel deeply grateful he is here in town in case there is an issue. I recommend hom highly.
