Oh McRaven house.. where to begin. My husband and I booked the 8:30 Haunted Tour and really enjoyed ourselves. The property it's self is beautiful. The home was impeccable. All of the spooky stories you've heard are correct. For myself, the creepiest room was definitely Billy's. I started feeling heavy in my chest, then a knife like consistent stab in my heart, followed by seeing a shadow in the corner of the room. I had to step out and sit on the stairs. The tour guide was amazing even though I probably annoyed her 🫣. It is definitely worth seeing.
It was ok more talking than actually looking at the artifacts. Slightly rushed when view. Felt more like a history tour. “Slaves didn’t eat people, whites did!” Didn’t think that joke was funny even tho she said it was a joke. I had to tell my kids the truth.
My star rating may not be fair as I did not do a tour. I was driving by Vicksburg and stopped over at 4a, stood out front with camera and SB7 going. I still need to review both but I may have captured one intelligent response but that’s it. Did not do full set up and walk of property or tour but will one day. It is at the end of a dead end street and if questionable characters in dark streets are a concern for you go in a group or daylight.
