Dropped into McRae Kia to look at a new car and left pretty unimpressed. They asked where I bought my current Kia. When I said Melbourne, I got a sarcastic “oh thanks for that.” Not a great way to speak to someone who’s standing there ready to buy. I was travelling to NSW from Melbourne and had an issue with my KIA Sorrento GT Line. Fuel lead was not opening while I was trying to refuel at Woodonga. I called RACV and they couldn’t fixed the issue. So I had to go to KIA service center and met service manager Kosta. He is the nicest person with the best customer service attitude I have ever met. Good on you mate and keep it up your way.
Steer clear of McRAE Motors. Their so-called Holden technician has no experience reprogramming instrument clusters. I was quoted $600 with zero guarantee it would work, and told I’d still have to pay even if it failed. I wasn’t allowed to speak directly to the technician — everything had to go through Kosta Stefanou, who acted as a gatekeeper. I was also told I’d need to wait four weeks just to book in. I even offered $200 simply to speak to the technician to confirm capability — refused.
