Extremely disappointing experience with McPhail’s in Harriston. We brought our motorhome in for an insurance claim and, after waiting over a year, were told it was ready. Upon arrival, several repairs had not been started, and the hubcap was missing. On our second visit, the floor repair had only been patched and looked terrible. We purchased our RV from McPhails 6 years ago and now have to perform some maintenance work. The service department is lacking all the attributes they so strongly tout in their advertising. Our water heater was giving us trouble on our first outing in April. We called from the park and were told they couldn’t possibly see us until June. Got my trailer in to fix a front corner seam that was coming loose was told between 100-150 anything more they would call I also asked them to look at all the caulking when I came to pick up trailer bill was 500 before taxes was a bit shocked then told that’s cheap insurance.. so I thought it would be done right and look good, wrong once looking over the work they did on the caulking I was throughly upset caulking everywhere and didn’t even clean up the corner that was fixed just went right overtop with clear caulking… makes... read more
The purchase of my trailer was easy and straightforward. The follow up warranty, work and communication of repairs has been dismal at best. It started in November of last year, making an appointment for the warranty work this April. I had the trailer delivered three days before the appointment and found out two weeks after the scheduled appointment. They still have not even looked at my unit.
