I have reached out to the Astrological Society by contact form on their website, email, and Facebook. As I understand it, they claim they want to save the observatory and restore it. I'd love to help but no one has responded to my requests. As much as I want to help, if no one answers my attempts to make contact, I'm not sure it is an organization that wants or deserves my help.

Volunteered here in 2002-2004, great place, like a page out of time. Used to be a very cool place for astronomy enthusiasts.
