We went one may 18th, around 10 am The doctor was excellent. However, the nurse who saw us first before we entered the room was very disrespectful and came across as discriminatory toward me and my 9-year-old son. Her behavior felt intentional, as she was cold and unfriendly with him. Right after us, another young boy came in and she loudly said, “Welcome! What a neat and handsome boy you’re so cute!” in a cheerful and excited tone. My son was shocked by the difference in treatment, and it hurt him deeply. He still remembers... read more
Amazing place! Friendly, kind, courteous people ... always treated us fairly. It is an emergency room so sometimes theres a long wait because they triage based on severity of condition, but they're amazing at what they do! I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
This hospital looks like a prison from the outside. I hope those kids are ok..
We had a great experience at the McMaster children’s hospital ER. The staff was helpful professional and thoughtful. Thanks to everyone especially nurse Natalie and Dr Metali. We were in and out in 2 hours- with two rounds of X-rays, and medication and a follow up with fracture clinic. Hope the government keep up with the funding to keep paying for the evening staff for the minor treatment area!
Not sure why this hospital has bad reviews! They truly know how to treat kids and talk to them. Everyone is so friendly and they took us pretty quick. First time having a good experience in a emergency room
