He's a competent doctor, very friendly. I would not recommend him for first time moms though because his communication skills are nill. I never really knew what was going on with my pregnancy, and he never told me what to expect or asked me my preferences for the birth. Basically gave me a book my first visit and expected me to consult it instead of him for everything, despite his expensive price tag.
I've seen Dr McLaughlin for a few different female issues. He is kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
