I found out I have endocarditis a serious infection in my heart. I tried to tell the doctor that and he said he just wanted to hear my symptoms he then gave me muscle relaxers and vertigo meds as you do get vertigo with endocarditis he said since I'm young and don't have any history of heart problems he wasn't worried about it being a heart problem. But they did and EKG and an X-ray of my heart anyway. Now you're not supposed to have muscle relaxers with endocarditis and depending on the vertigo meds as well. And I'm in the ... read more
Worst ER visit I could imagine. Don't go here.
Took my adult daughter to this ER for an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. I was appalled honestly. The lobby was packed with people, several , including my daughter, vomiting into bags and pink tubs, the security guard actually handed my daughter one, a he recognized she needed it when we came in. The wait time was horrendous, we were there for 6 hours, was there 4 hours before she was seen, and the dr. assessment took place in the waiting room and not in private, which I believe violates privacy laws.
