Great Dr's, and great staff!
New patient new diagnosed with diabetes. Missed an appointment due to a family funeral. Asked for virtual/telemed appointment which they said yes. Day of appointment they called 45 minutes after scheduled time. To tell me they could not do appointment. Nurse listened to my concerns said doctor would call. Never called. Back home tried to make appointment for current day or at least that week. Nothing for three weeks with my new doctor or two weeks with another in practice. I thought this place would be good, and as my mom was previously a patient of McLaren Macomb, I thought it would be the easiest transition. I was wrong, and it would have been easier to set her up at a completely new place then re-establish her here. They had the wrong phone number for me, because I guess they didn't update it when I gave it to them at least three times during the appointment, once verbally and at least twice on the paperwork. Before scheduling my appointment, I called to verify that they took my insurance Tricare Prime. I mentioned it the receptionist multiple times a day she assured me they took it. I drove an hour and 20 minutes, just to get there and have them say sorry for the misunderstanding we do not take your insurance. So just beware.
